Plans to open a brewery

The owners of the Napa Palisades Saloon have announced plans to turn their riverfront patio into a craft brewery and tap room. The project will include the creation of a brewery, beer tasting room, and distribution center. The plans have garnered local and regional attention, and the business is slated to open this fall. The owners are announcing the plans to the public in a press release, and will likely seek approval from city and county officials.

A recent city permit application reveals that the building is not zoned for a brewery, but it will allow for a restaurant. The building sits on a triangular parcel between Socol Avenue and the Napa River. It has little parking and will likely be sacrificed to accommodate delivery trucks. No onsite parking will be available. However, a parking structure is planned.
